This serge tank/accumulator solved the problem with my RV so the pump doesn’t short cycle. It works great!

This was easy to install, but I had to get one connector hose from the hardware store, which was about $5. It serves its purpose much better than I expected. Pump noise was quite annoying before, but almost unnoticeable now. I wish I could be more objective than this, but I’m very picky about noise and my pump doesn’t bother me anymore. The pump probably cycles on/off less than 25% compared with before, which should help durability. The pressure does rise and fall during sustained use (taking a shower or washing dishes), but it’s completely tolerable. Concentrating on not bumping my head or falling over the toilet in my tiny camper shower completely overshadows any concern over pressure fluctuations.

I have not installed the unit yet because I have been out locating parts for the installation. One problem I am having is the the water lines on my camper are all crimped together rather than hose clamp. I would need to buy 2 crimp clamps and a crimper for the installation. The crimping tool is $27 and I can’t see paying that much for 2 squeezes. Currently the accumulator is sitting in the box. It looks like it would work once installed. Also there is almost no room in my RV for the installation but the mulitple mount methods for the accumulator solves this problem.

This tank is well built and contained all of the parts described though it is very expensive for what it is. Took a while to find it on line and there were no competing product manufactures? For some reason in the RV shopping “world” prices are extremely high for all products and supplies. You must deal with the closed dealer network (ie Camping World) to buy almost any accessory. The company who built your RV does not respond to requests for replacement parts. Though most items are produced in Indiana there are no online companies selling any of the products made in the area. This keeps prices high and makes adding accessories or refurbishing your RV next to impossible. With the economy down turn this market has collapsed on itself. If any other product where the price was supplier controlled people would be outraged. Next thing you know the they’ll be looking for a Govt. hand out.

Seems to be fine. Too early really to tell, but it is of reasonably heavy plastic construction with a metal Schraeder valve into the bladder.
