Question by Maria: How do I fix a bathroom sink faucet that screams when the water is running?
My bathroom sink has a double faucet. The cold water faucet has no problem but when the hot water faucet is turned on it shrieks. This doesn’t happen when you turn the faucet but rather when the water is running. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks for your help.

It’s most likely due to a loose packing on the stem, or a loose washer.
I’ll bet the stem is a little loose where it goes down into the faucet body. That looseness allows the stem to move and react chaotically when the water is flowing past the washer at the bottom.
