    Great tips, and to the jerks that like to insult, do your own video if your so smart instead of being useless.

    thanks a lot man . i heard this tip before but had no clue what the rod did. you explain well now im gonna go see how much i can get it for. thanks for the advice.

  11. ThatsJustMe1028 says:

    Sounds like an aging anode rod. The anode rod (just in case you’re not familiar with it) is screwed into the tank from the top and serves to retard corrosion of the metal tank by sacrificing itself instead. These rods, when old, can produce a sulfur-like odor when the hot water is run. The anode rod can be replaced with a new one from a good hardware or plumbing supply store.

    your just a fucking genius fat boy.the bread trick wasnt your idea so stop lying. another hint fat boy type m copper pipe is used in residential type L is used in commercial buildings type K is for buriel.and the rag soaked with hydrolic fluid isnt your idea either so stop lying

    I wonder why he cleaned the outside of the fitting? I noticed it was a street fitting so the other side would naturally get sanded. Second why would the solder run down the pipe? He is soldering it on a horizontal. Third you are supposed to heat the entire fitting no just one part of it. Oh well each his own. The bread is not his idea that is a common old trick most well trained plumbers know. He is taking ideas as his own. What a schmuck.

    I think any of you Youtube nerds,, that want to talk bad about Big Tony, should def. think twice.. LOL

    anyway, Im in Jersey,(just across the water) and love the tips and your strong Staten Island NY accent..

    I have a more technical question..
    Anyone with help, please email me
    Im repairing a p-trap on a bathroom sink from the 1920’s or 1930’s , can i connect pvc to the old brass pipe, with just a coupling?

  15. elitedonk says:

    Do you have to put the flame below the fitting or above…..my college teachers apply the flame above the fitting????

    @MarioRink

    Comparing yourself to a medical doctor? What a laugh. While it takes years to be an expert plumber, nearly anyone can do a proper job with a little practice. Opinions like yours just motivate do-it-yourselfers.

  22. MarioRink says:

    We are an amazing trade we teach our customers so they can do the job themselfes . Doctors will be next. So you can do small operations yourself . It is always best not to call an expensive plumber. Insane! Use Viega Pro-Press anyhow. Greetings to all Plumbers with some brain left! Mario
